About Kerala

 

    Kerala is one of the small and beautiful green lands in India. Kerala is in the south west corner of India with 1.8% of total area of the country. Population of the state is nearly 3.34 Cr. It occupies 550 narrow strip of land with Arabian Sea coastline in the west. Kerala is the thirteenth-largest state by population in India and is divided into 14 districts with the capital being Thiruvananthapuram. Malayalam is the most widely spoken language and is also the official language of the state. Tamilnadu and Karnataka are the nearby states. Kerala contain 44 rivers. Kerala is the highest literate state of India and formed on November 1st 1956.
